Flutter. Is. Awesome. A while back I saw this Dribbble Shot. 👇
I really liked the minimalism aspect and honestly it reminded me of something I would design for an app myself so I thought why not make that in Flutter? So I took an afternoon, made a cup of coffee, and sat down to make it. It turned out to be a lot easier than I thought too. It’s amazing to me that the code I wrote for this can be packaged and shipped to iOS, Android, Web, Mac OS, and Linux now. I think it would be difficult to put a real value to how much that saves for businesses and developers but I think over the next couple years we will see the real impact Flutter can have on the application development process.
If you’ve thought about learning Flutter but haven’t quite jumped on it yet…now. is. the. time. Go on YouTube. Pay a couple dollars for a course on Udemy. I really think we’re just glimpsing what Google has planned for this development tool and the ones who jump on it at the start will reap the rewards when the boom happens. And truthfully the best part is it is the best tool I’ve ever seen for beginners to learn to code so if you’ve never written a line of code in your life Flutter is an excellent place to start.
Here’s a tutorial on how I made that Dribbble design with Flutter.
